For the school year, 2011-12, National Honor Society will meet in split meetings. Senior members will be serviced on the first Thursday of the month and the Junior members on the second Thursday in room 2A. Also, if you are a NEW member who is a junior you will need 30 community service hours through NHS in order to graduate with the distinction of the NHS sash and diploma. Juniors, you MUST have at least 15 community service hours by the end of May of this year in order to stay in the organization. If you are a senior entering NHS you will need 15 community service hours in order to graduate with the distinction of the NHS sash and diploma. Second year member Seniors must have 30 hours by the end of April. Hours are logged beginning Sept 1st; no summer hours can be used for your yearly quotas.

Group Announcements Service Hour OpportunityFill a stocking for a needy child. Salvation Army stockings available in room 1502. Fill them with small gift items, like small stuffed animals, coloring books, crayons, markers, puzzle books, small games. No chocolate or fruits. Hard candy is fine. Stockings due back to 1502 by Wed. 12/6.
